Terms & Conditions

1. General Terms

By booking a repair service with RepairXpert, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. We provide home appliance repair services including AC repair, refrigerator repair, washing machine repair, microwave oven repair, and deep freezer repair across Miramar, SantaCruz, Caranzalem, Merces, Taleigao, Santa Inez, and surrounding areas of North Goa.

All service bookings are subject to technician availability and confirmation. We reserve the right to decline service for appliances that are beyond economical repair or pose a safety hazard.

2. Non-Refundable Charges

Important: The following charges are strictly non-refundable once the service process has begun.

  • Visiting / Inspection Charges (₹499): This fee covers the technician's travel and time to diagnose your appliance. It is non-refundable even if you choose not to proceed with the repair after diagnosis.
  • Diagnostic / Assessment Fee: If advanced diagnosis is required using specialized tools or extended labor, this fee is non-refundable once work has started.
  • Advance Payments for Parts: Any upfront payment made to order genuine spare parts (compressors, PCBs, motors, magnetrons, etc.) is non-refundable once the order is placed with our suppliers. Parts ordered specifically for your appliance cannot be returned to inventory.
  • Cancellation After Dispatch: If a technician has already been dispatched to your location and you cancel the service, the visiting charge is non-refundable.

3. Service & Repair Terms

  • Repair estimates are provided after physical inspection. The final bill may vary based on actual parts required and labor involved.
  • We use only genuine OEM spare parts for LG, Samsung, Whirlpool, Godrej, IFB, Bosch, Daikin, Voltas, and other major brands.
  • Customer approval is mandatory before any repair work or part replacement begins.
  • If the appliance cannot be repaired on-site due to complexity or missing parts, it may be transported to our workshop with your consent. Transport is at the customer's risk unless otherwise agreed.
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, cosmetic wear, or unrelated faults discovered during repair.

4. Warranty Policy

  • RepairXpert provides a 90-day service warranty on all repairs performed by our technicians, covering the same fault recurring under normal usage conditions.
  • Warranty covers labor and replaced parts only. It does not cover new or unrelated faults, physical damage, voltage surge damage, or issues caused by improper use.
  • Warranty is void if the appliance is tampered with, repaired by a third party, or used with incompatible accessories after our service.
  • Parts supplied by the customer carry no warranty from RepairXpert.
  • Warranty claims must be reported within the warranty period with valid service proof (invoice or receipt).

5. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is due immediately upon completion of the repair service unless a written credit arrangement has been agreed upon.
  • We accept cash, UPI, bank transfer, and major digital wallets. No cheques unless pre-approved.
  • Late payments may incur a penalty of ₹100 per day after a 7-day grace period.
  • All prices quoted are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.

6. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • You may reschedule or cancel a booking free of charge up to 3 hours before the scheduled technician visit.
  • Cancellations made less than 3 hours before the visit, or after the technician has been dispatched, will forfeit the visiting charge (₹499).
  • Repeated cancellations (3 or more) may result in suspension of future booking privileges.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • RepairXpert's liability is limited to the value of the repair service charged. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including food spoilage, water damage, or business interruption.
  • We are not responsible for loss of data, settings, or stored content in smart appliances during repair.
  • Customers must ensure safe access to the appliance and a working electrical connection. We are not liable for injuries or damages caused by unsafe premises.

8. Privacy & Data

  • We collect your name, address, phone number, and appliance details solely for service delivery and warranty tracking.
  • Your contact information is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • Service records are retained for warranty validation and internal quality control.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Goa and the Union of India. Any disputes arising from our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Panaji, Goa.

10. Changes to Terms

RepairXpert reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
